Bottle as Kossel Brau Vollbier at 4.8%> it pours clear reddish - amber with a medium fluffy beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, nutty, toasty brown bread, cereal, toffee/caramel, dull spice, malt loaf and rivita. The taste is firmly dry, firm, fairly snappy, bitter - sweet, toasty grain, toffee, caramel, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, splash of cherry cola, jammy, earth, woody and wood loaf with a toasty finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Fulsome body and rather flavoursome. Not heavy and drinks well. Enjoyed this one quite a bit.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Pours a clear copper/bronze colour with a medium sized throthy off white head. Aromas of caramel, toasty brown bread and nuts. Taste has more caramel, toasty brown bread and a hint of nuts with some added notes of herbal on a light earthy hop and chalky like finish. Medium body, average carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Very decent.
