Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home. Pours clear gold colour lasting white head. light saison aroma. it's somewhere between a Belgian blond and a saison. some sweetness. some hop on the end. 8s it an IPA or a saison? somewhere inbetween I guess. I liked it.

Bottle, 6.7%. Citric and yeasty aroma, like saison. Clear golden colour. Big stable chalk white head. The flavour is yeasty with coriander and lemon notes. Slightly sweet finish. Clearly Belgian yeast. Not an IPA, but a Belgian IPA, I guess.

33cl bottle from Delhaize Chazal in Brussels. F: big, white, long lasting. C: shiny gold, hazy. A: malty, peach, floral, bit tangerine, red apples peels, yellow berries. T: medium malty base, mellow fruity, red apples, bit tangerines, spicy, perfumed, decent bitterness yet not IPA at all, medium carbonation, ok for the style, enjoyed yet nothing memorable here.

Bottle at the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces café, Brussels. A hazy lemon-yellow pour, with a rocky off-white head. Aroma is pure Belgian malt: peppermint and croissant; then some extra hops: bitter orange, grass. Dry mouth, full-bodied, silky-textured. Low carbonation. Finish is bitter, long-lasting and dank. Nice.

gift from my neighbour and friend right from Belgium - many thanks, Benjamin! hazy pale yellow colour, large, though not too stable white head; aroma of lemony, lemon zesty, grassy, bread crusty and slight dill notes; taste has the same notes with correct hoppyness and some earthy notes; good one

Typical Belgian IPA. Yeasty, notes of citrus, wheat, some iron, bready. A bit unbalanced. Not great.

Bottle from Delhaize. Clear golden, stable, frothy, white head. Aroma of yellow apple, pear, pineapple, yeast, wheat, mandarin peel, melon, perfume, herbal mix, starch. Taste has sweet apple, pear, vague peach; bready malty profile with wheat and even starch element, bit spicy, quite yeasty. Floral hoppy finish, phenolic clove effects, lingering yellow fruit, yeast, old bread and faintly warming alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Enjoyable 'poshed up' Belgian Ale but should lose the IPA label.

Clear yellow appearance with stable head. Aroma has sweet malts and a touch of banana. Flavour has that too with elements of tropical fruits. Not very bitter and actually a bit too sweet but it's not bad overall. Some pineapple in the aftertaste.
