Bottle from Melbecks Garden Centre, Coleshill. Clear gold, small pillowy consistent white head. Floral hoppy, touch of citrus zest, biscuit and a hint of the rye malt in aroma; decent. Taste is a little disappointing, quite resinous and bitter flora, grassy, very faint fruit notes - one dimensional. Good body for 4% with soft carbonation. All good except the flavour!

Cask at the Gatehouse Tavern, Coventry on 26th October 2022. Pale amber with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Grassy hop aroma with savoury touch. Nutty malts, and tangy citrus fruits in-mouth, and a grassy hop finish with increasing bitterness. Medium bodied with an engaging texture. Exquisite.

Cask at the Wild Boar, Warwick. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is big weedy hops. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, dank, resin, grassy, floral, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. It’s all about the bittering hops.

From cask at The Dog & Bell Deptford while waiting for the Jack in the Green parade. Clear golden. Dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of bitter pine shoots, bitter grapefruit, Sevilla marmalade, flowers and pale malt. Long aftertaste. Good!

Cask. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is zezty, grapes, pale malts. Taste is zezty, grassy, light toffee, very fruity and juicy. Very oily mouthfeel, basically flat. Very drinkable, very nice one!
