This American Red Ale is the perfect balance of malt and hops. A caramel biscuit base lays the groundwork before a ton of hops cut through with a big citrus hit. One to refresh and warm at the same time.

330ml can. Hazy red-brown colour, finger of beige head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, floral and stone fruit hops. Taste is caramel malts, grapefruit, orange, citrus zest, pine, minor resin. Light to moderate body, medium carbonation. It's nice but could do with a touch more depth for a red ale.

Out of date 330ml can (BBE Dec 2020), drank at home on 3rd Apr 2021. Smooth beige foam on the top of a hazed red body. A bit 'harsh' in nature with a rough maltiness throughout, the nose is all about those malts too. Didn't get the fruitiness others have mentioned.

33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours reddish brown, fairly hazy, with limited whitish foam. Aroma is biscuity and a little caramel, but also floral and citrus. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderate in both sweetness and bitterness. Final is a little thin. Easy drinking beer.

Foamy light brown head stayed on a dark ruby red still body. Red berries, pine & zesty aroma. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated with a sharp clean back. Jam, berry, pine, confectionery, caramel & sweet citrus tastes with a hoppy finish. Good one.
