A light, easy-drinking beer without compromising flavour. Backyard has all the characteristics that you want out of an IPA; like hints of juicy citrus and dank hoppy nose. The beauty of this beer though? It's only 3.7% ABV.

Can from lowcostbeer, 3 weeks until BBE, 3.7% ABV. Pours a cloudy golden-amber with small white head, good retention. Aroma has a fruity apricot, pine some citrus zest sand malt. Taste has an earthiness, malt, fruity middle, some zest, big pine note and quite bitter. Medium bodied, light chewiness. Good.

Low Calorie (3.7%) version - pours hazy pale amber with a frothy / bubbly white head and a hoppy, fruity aroma. It's a little bit piney, hoppy, lemon/orangey with some sweet caramel malt going on and a nice touch of late bitterness

US Pint can (473ml), 3.7% ABV version: BB Feb 2022. Poured into a Good People (of Birmingham, Alabama) glass at home on 14th May 2021. Really enjoyed this, nice simple, easy to drink beer without a truck load of hops or strange additives in the brew. Slight haze to the golden body, full white crown on top. Pleasant hop nose and taste, decent malt base and a semi-bitter finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy citrus and light pine with grain and bread backing. Flavor is grass forward supported by bread and grains.
