Our second collaboration is with Finback, flying in from Queens, NY, they brew fun, unique beer designed specifically for enjoyment, we couldn't put it better ourselves. They also founded in 2011, same as us!

After long conversations over beers as how to go about brewing this beer, Kevin and Basil have pushed us as a brewery to embrace new methods. It is the first beer where we have propagated our yeast (London III) especially for a brew. Also the dry hopping ratio is off the chart from what we have done before. Freshest hops Vic Secret, Enigma and Citra are packed into this beer, that makes it super juicy and London III yeast adds huge fruity depth to this beer.

We have always considered collaborations as a chance to learn from a hands on point of view new techniques and ways to be able to make the best beer we possibly can. This is a truly special beer for us on our journey and it's amazing to have the opportunity to be able to brew with them.

Can. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is juicy hops, some grass, mango, powdered sugar. Taste is the same, some sweat. Oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Fun, but quite sweet.

Can at home, 24/11/18. Hazed orange to light amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is bitter orange, caramel, sweet malts, light pine trace, toasted bread. Taste comprises grapefruit, citric tinged straw, orange pith, toasted grains, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Passable IPA but I expected more ... a touch pedestrian and flabby at times.

44cl can from Boxbeers.dk. Poured slightly unclear light yellow/orange in color. Thin white head. Geting some ripe fruits and farmhouse wibes from aroma. Not at all what I expected. OK fruity hops, some pine in flavor but again that yeast, farmhouse kinda wibes. Not in best shape I guess.

(440ml can from boxbeers.dk) Clear deep gold pour with a decent stable white head and lots of lace. Aroma of sweet orange, fruit candies, biscuit malt, syrup? Flavour is sweet pale malt with biscuit and grain quite prominent, orange, grapefruit and lemon peels, maybe some pit fruit esters, grainy lightly to moderately bitter off-dry back end. Feels a bit too malt-forward without having an interesting malt bill, somewhat limp hop expression. Light bodied, watery, average carbonation. I was expecting more haze and punch from a Finback collaboration, this is a bit drab for me.

440ml can. Slightly hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, malts. Taste is sweet, syrupy, citrus, orange, grapefruit, malts. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. This is an ok IPA, but it really seems to be lacking something... All the other Finback collabs (Siren, Verdant, Northern Monk) were fantastic.
