Drink in bottle @ Cobbetts, Dorking. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are fruits, hops, malt and has a light sour finish.

Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Feint malty aroma. Amber/jade. Good thick white head. Blotchy. Light bitter, which gains in strength but not to much strength at all. Light to medium bodied. Watery. Carbonation comes through towards the end. Long, if weak, finish. Another BBB - bland boring bitter.

500ml Bottle - Copper in colour. Sultanas, caramel and raisins are prominent in both the aroma and the taste. Perfectly drinkable and technically flawless but not enough character for my liking.

Cask at Reading BF 2016. Clear amber orange colour lasting white head. buttery malty bitter. ok condition not keen on the butter some decent malt on finish. umm.

Cask at Hawkley Inn, Hampshire. A smooth and tasty bitter with good balance between malts and hops. Fresh zesty hop flavours makes it stick out.

Bottle.Tons of earthiness. Very malty, lots of wood. Very low bitterness. Quit intense flavors. Light. Fairly enjoyable English ale.

Cask (gravity) @ The 16th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2010, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted - caramel, sweet malt, toffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20100429]

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Golden amber with a dense cream head; bready aroma; smooth and creamy with biscuity malt flavours; anbd a dry finish. Boring and very ordinary.
