Tight tan head on a dark brown body. Roasted, toffee & ashtray aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a foamy back. Toffee, butter, roasted, liquorice & sweet berry tastes with a tangy citrus finish. Very nice.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Very dark red with a creamy head. It has an interesting buttermilk taste with a light sweetness. This dominates over its dark malts and provides a smoothness. Its aroma is milk.
