Half-pint, cask shared with Finn, guest ale at Wild Boar. Clear rosewood body, filmy layer, fair lacing. Inviting smell of dark fruits and nuts, slightly smoked. Blended taste profile of nutty chocolate and hints of fruits. Malt-fruity end, hints of smoke. Quite nice. (Warwick 02.02.2020).

5th Oct 2019; hand-pulled half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates, Shropshire. Nice dark body and tanned head, looked the part. Malty nose and flavours, some chocolate notes with a light earthy, nutty feel. Easy going brew with plenty happening in the mouth.
