24 ounce Tall boy. Tomato and clam juice, chile peppers (Tapatio hot sauce), malt, and straw aroma. Cloudy red with moderate but very short lasting head. Mildly sweet tomato/clam juice, chile peppers (Tapatio hot sauce), and very mildly bitter straw flavor - possibly a hint of regular Bud Light. Good body - moderate hot pepper burn in the finish. Saved by the Tapatio - by far the best of the Bud Cheladas and the only one to date that I will be able to finish.

Canned 739ml (25 fl oz). -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & hrabren, thanks! Red tomato coloured, medium sized off-white head, tomato soup nose. Tomato soup taste with notes of pepper and light spicy notes. Low carbonation, quite interesting.

ENORMOUS thanks to GodOfCheladas for shipping this to me, after getting it back from Texas. Murky red body. Smells like... well, Ogi got it right, ragout, meat and tomatoes. Odd sweetish fruity note in the taste immediately taken over by tomatoes / clamato, before a solid kick of heat. Not too refreshing though, but this is damn fun. Actually, not sure what I think of the sweetish note, the Clamato's pretty great, the heat a bit clashing with the rest but not entirely. Slightly on the flat side too. If it was better carbonated it might be more drinkable, but this is great in its ridiculousness. How to rate it? Dunno. This seems right.

0,71 l can that Marko brought from Prague. Huge thanks. Shared with Marko and Ogi. Murky dark orange to tomato red. Aroma is tomato sauce, tomato juice, a sugary touch, a fruity touch, black pepper. Fruit candy, tomato juice, hot peppers flavour. Taste is moderately hot and spicy. Sweetness. Hot finish. Smooth. Soft to moderate carbonation. Light. Healthy.

So this is new (to me). Pours kind of a bright artificial looking red, not the tomato-ey red of the regular BL cheladas. But it tastes good, a spicy version of the regular. Tomato, salt, spice, light beer. Because of the spice its not as refreshing as the regular, but I'm drinking it on a cool afternoon, so it works. I like the lingering heat on the palate. I'm OK with this.
