Toffee aroma on the nose is followed by a balanced, light caramel mouth-feel. We have used a contemporary variety of German hops to introduce a rich bitter orange peel character to the back of the palate, that compliments the malt flavours perfectly.

Bottle. Pours nearly clear amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and hops, with estery touches. Bitter flavour of hops and roast, with nutty and malty notes and touches of yeast. Bitter, roasty aftertaste with estery touches. Well, Not bad, but the roasty notes are IMHO rather unexpected and a trifle too intense here.

Bottle, 4.8%. Mild roasted grain aroma. Almost clear amber colour. Small frothy whitish head. The flavour is nutty with a good underlying malt base. Mild acid to balance the nuttiness. Medium bitterness with a nice woody bite in the finish.
