This New England style DIPA is a beast, but not in a "lurking in the shadows, evil" kind of way; in a "flavour explosion, delicious hops," GOOD Monster kind of way! Double dry hopped with 24g/L of Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe and Amarillo; notes of tropical mango and passionfruit, juicy peach, and bright orange, lemon, and grapefruit shine!

Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is citrus, fruity hop, grass, pineapple, orange, juicy fruit. Moderate bitter flavour, finishes a bit dry. Body is medium. A good enough monster.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Hazy silvery yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some herbal tones with mild nectary tones. Flavour is floral, some nectary and not too sweetish tones. Aftertaste has some nectary and mild lactose tones with some sweet herbal and fruity tones.

The label has changed but all else seems to be the same. I have a 16 oz can that came to me from the local craft beer shop. This evening I have the ABGB snifter arrayed for the pour. A lemonade colored liquid with a promptly settled, totally white foam. The scent is tropical, some pine and citrus. I lift the glass and take a drink. Grapefruit, a mango sweetness, some hoppiness with little bitterness, crackers and malt. A decent beer but I do not get anything out of the ordinary for the style.

Can picked up from Beer Republic, Breda Netherlands had this at home, sat outside, Saturday 17th June 2023 listening to the new Squid album. Pours dirty gold with a sticky white head. Soft mouthfeel, nice mouthfeel, nice thrusting bite, sweet with tropical fruit salad, good.

Tap at Zeezicht, Breda. Hazy unclear pale yellow color, small white head. Aroma suggests a citrus fruit forward IPA with some sweetness, maybe apricot or mango. Flavor confirms: tangerine and a sweet fruit hoppiness mixed together I'd say. Alright.

A really refined, delightful NEIPA that packs a punch an hour later because of its hidden alcohol, but that belated punch is the only thing monster-ish about this beer. Aromas of passionfruit, pineapple, peach and a little pine. More pine in the mouth, together with some orange peel and a little biscuit. A tangy finish is a nice surprise.

Very hazy light golden coloured body with a thick, three to four centimetre tall off-white microfoamed head that fades slowly, but leaves a nice cap over the 80 per cent opaque glow. Aroma of grass, hay, oranges, light grapefruit and a good deal of both alpha acids from the hops and bready yeast, without much alcohol in the nose, at least. Medium-bodied; Very juicy flavours at first that hit with light oranges and even some curacao notes, with a touch of mangoes and apples with a velvety smooth malt note - wheat? - with a slight dryness at the end and a subdued candy bite with a good level of sweetness and a lot of fruitiness. Aftertaste has a good balance of malt with the new school, very low alpha acid hops that show no bitterness at all, but a lot of orange and citrus flavours and the right level of sweetness that hits hard, but balanced and very enjoyable - all without any noticeable alcohol here at all! Overall, a very nice New England IPA that borders on Imperial Status, but shows as a nice plain New Englander with no hop bitterness - squarely in the New School IPA territory - nice! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from MOM's Organic Market in Alexandria, Virginia on 19-October-2021 for US$3,99, marked 'best by 27-January-2022' and sampled at my house here in Washington on 21-October-2021, just two days after purchase.
