A deceptive golden stout devised with our friends at the inspirational Thornbridge Brewery. You'll pick up plenty of unexpected depth here, with rich chocolate and coffee notes intertwining with sweet liquorice, biscuity malts and creamy lactose.

Can from the Siren brewery online shop. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas of coffee and milky chocolate. Taste is more of the same, mite chocolate than coffee though. Faint liquorice at the back. Sweet finish.

Can at home picked up from Siren online/ A translucent golden orange with a lasting fine off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, milky coffee, raisin, white bread, light pepper, white chocolate. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, creamy pale grains, raisin, mellow coffee, riaisin loaf, vanilla. Palate is semi sweet, smooth, creamy, nitro. , Drinks ok, but not the best style.

Hazy golden beer, white head. Smell.is a little coffee, a little chocolate. Tastes if coffee, a dash of chocolate, some malt, a little fruit sweetness. Pale stouts are always a little weird but this is very drinkable.

440ml can from Thornbridge Beer Club - Murky golden body, solid lasting white head. Nose is coffee and chocolate notes, slight milky touch as well. Taste is sweetish, creamy mocha start, leads on to a malty finish. Quite interesting and tastes quite different to what you'd expect from its appearance.
