Bottle shared with Gabor Gábor and Undos. Pours jet black with a beige head. Nose is earthy, roasted malts, booze, coffee and a weird metallic touch that fades with time. Taste is sweet booze and coffee, dark chocolate and earthy notes. Sweet, boozy finish, huge, creamy body and soft carbonation. I've only had better stuff from the silver series tbh, even if this isn't too bad either.

Black and oily with no head. Really full flavoured with sweet vanilla. Bready base notes too.

Bottle from Stacks. Cloudy black, quickly thinning, beige head. Strong aroma of iron at first but disappearing in favour of fondant, espresso, vanilla bean, date, pear, wood, tobacco, bourbon, pecan. Taste has sweet dried fig, date and blackberry in a thick fondant-like & pecan-nutty malt base enhanced by bitter espresso and a hint of vanilla. Peppery hoppy finish offers a spicy note (as of perhaps), dried fruits, wood, coffee & warming bourbon alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. A heavy yet delicious late late-night sipper.

Batch 351. Glossy black, fine creamy brown head. Smells roast, plenty rye whiskey, some sharp coffee. Creamy body, nice thickness, low carbed, boozy. Taste is lots of rye, bit spicy, also spicy coffee. Good deal of roast too, on the bitter side. Tasty.

330 ml bottle. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, cola, black coffee, licorice, and dusty dark chocolate. Flavors follow same with additional dark sugars helping to balance the roasty bitterness. Not getting much barrel, but very good regardless.

Bottle. Black with a modest and fading brown head. 3+ Aroma of roast and mocha, some spiced buns, vanilla. Brooding. Silky with low carbonation. Not all that sweet (certainly relative to their Tumeaine) with whiskey coming through at the end to sweep away bittersweet coffee, spiced buns, good chocolate, pralines. Then after a while the medium roast coffee is there again. Big but kind of delicate. Really good.
