Tappet 27.02.20. Rødbrun farge med lyst beige skum. Lukter kirsebær, trevirke, gjær, eddik. Syrlig med masser av smak. Mørke stenfrukter, kirsebærstein, mandler. Søtsyrlig og lang herlig avslutning.

Draft. A brown beer with a thin head. The aroma has notes of wood, funk, spices, wine grapes, and malt. The flavor is sour with notes of vinegar, funk, wood, wine, and malt, leading to a tart finish.

Bottle at home. One year old. Pours a slightly cloudy deep mahogany colour with a beige head that fades fast. Aroma of oak, sweet cherries, raisins, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar and forest floor. Some roasted malt. Flavour of oak, brown sugar, balsamico vinegar and black currants. Warming alcohol in the end. Has a slick and slightly silky mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Tasteful and well balanced. I expected more complexity though.

Bottle for replacement borefts. Pours copper to caramel, tiny head. Aroma is light funk, caramel, wine, oak, berries. Port barrel definitely comes through. Medium to big body. Flavour is malty, berries, caramel, light funk. Figs and lots of prunes. Lot of oak and port wine, really complex. Amazing.
