Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 09.02.15. Golden. White head. Superb aroma of vintage dry white wine and lambic. Equally superbly sour and complex taste. Good drinkability.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.1%, IBU 14. 12.5 degrees Plato. Malts are pilsener, wheat and caramel. Hop is Perle. Brewed with coriander, lactic acid and sea salt. Hazy golden colour, huge white head. Pleasant aroma of farmhouse, lemons and fresh sea air. Lemony flavour (but not as much as Westbrook Gose), slightly maltier, lightly salty. Refreshing beer.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy, deep golden. Aroma of lemon, urinal-cake. Rerate (T.). Bottle at Cardinal. Pours hazy golden with big, unstable white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, drain, effervescent powder. Taste slightly sour, a little salty; citrus, mango, peppermint. Thin bodied, refreshing. Rerate. Bottle bought in Hamburg, December 2015. Bottle bomb - only little beer ended up in the glass. Must have a very serious infection!

330 ml bottle @ Patricks. Slightly cloudy golden body with a nice white head. Aroma is just amazingly refreshing, almost like peeling an orange with the fruity acidity and everything. There is also flowers and salt in the nose, a bit unusually when not too familiar with the style but it make sense and feels just right. The same goes for the flavor, fantastic refreshing with oranges, berries, some lemon, citric zest type bitterness and balanced salt. The body feels perfect for this beer and the aftertaste is long lasting fruity, slightly acidic and sour. Just love this one and could have another one any time.

Meine erste Gose. Wunderschöne orangene Farbe, Schaum perlt gleich weg. Liegt im Glas wie ein Likör. Vom Geruch her Trauben, fast wie Weißwein. Im Geschmack erst sauer, dann leicht süß, Apfel. Jeder weitere Schluck bringt neue Aromen. Kann garnicht glauben, dass das ein Bier ist. Ein Erlebnis. Nach dem ersten Schluck musste ich erstmal lachen - sauer macht eben lustig.

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 09/08/2014. Thanks to jfb. Hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is really nice floral , elderflower, honeysuckle, with a bit of a zing. Flavour is carriander, salts, seaweed, light tart, and wheat grains. Very tasty brew. Palate is grainy, salty, with a nice dry finish. Tasty stuff.

Nice slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, weeds, co2 stinging in the nose, hay, heather, dried fruits, canned tropical fruits syrup. Taste is slightly dry floral, weeds, hay, flowers, sour grass, salt, dried fruits, heather, wood, minerals. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle shared at the RBESG ’14, Grander Tasting @ Moncada, 09/08/14. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is spice, bitter fruits, herbal tones, hint of tropicana, citric peel, pomegranate. Taste comprises tarte white grapes, lemon rind, bitter citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, refreshing close with light acidic vibes - what’s not to like?
