(Bottle) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy tan head. Malty nose with notes of crisp-bread, apricots, orange and herbs (thyme). Malty taste with bread, apricots, honey, orange and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Strongish, still with a soft texture. Tasty and harmonious. Nice one.

Bottle 50 cl. Wieninger Mai Bock. Pours a clear golden with a creamy, white head. Intense malty nose with a floral touch. Rich, malty body, some sweetness and some alcohol in the finish paired with sufficient bitterness. 150823

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Yellowish golden colour with small white head. Aroma is floral, herbal, some grassy and mild sweet malts. Flavour is floral, fruity, wooden, grainy and mild herbal tones.
