A perfectly plump pint “brood” for a fuller flavour, the rich roasted malt character is balanced against both fruity and citrus hop notes. 4.6% on the bottle.

Bottle that I picked up at Sainsburys, Kidlington. This poured crystal clear reddy amber with a white head. Quite spicy with some hops and roasted malts but not especially great, its ok but not great. A5 A4 F6 P3 OV11 2.9

Medium creamy offwhite lasting head with a coarse surface. Amber body. Sweet fruity aroma with floral hop notes, quite rich. Sweet mild earthy stale fruity taste with tea notes. Flat, and a bit off. Dry musty wooden malty aftertaste. Tastes like it’s not entirely right; should rerate. (0.5pt cask at the Prince Edward.)
