Can @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy dark ruby brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with touches of herbs and caramel. Bitter, roasty andbhoppy flavour with sweetish notes of malt and yeast, and touches of fruit and leaves. Bitter and estery aftertaste with woody touches. A nice one.

44 cl can, batch # 2416 poured into a Snifter. Pitch black with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with dark malts - liqourice, chocolate, brown cookies and coffee. The cedar shows as a dry, spiced wooden note. Taste is light bitter. Full body with an oily texture. Rather dry finish with dark malts. Very nice Porter.

Can from To Øl Webshop, Denmark and consumed at home Sunday 4th July 2021 listening to the new album by Snapped Ankles - Forest of Your Problems. Pours black with an off-white edging towards cappuccino coloured head. Trying to establish if I can really detect the cedar? However I am sidetracked by the description and story about Rocky Eriksson, do much so that I spent the next 20 minutes Back to the beer, there is some bitter cocoa, dark chocolate, there is a pleasant roastiness throughout, maybe I am picking up the cedar. Much better than expected, not too heavy, cloying or artificial. It's a nice Impy Stout.

Can. Nearly black, beige head. Aroma has roasted malt, licorice, cedar. Sweet flavour, licorice, roast. Cedar is there, mostly as a woody dry bitterness. Sweet but dry finish. Nice.

Can from køl.dk. Near black with a lasting off-white head. Spicy and almost perfumed cedar aroma mixing with mint, liquorice and dark chocolate. Sweetish roasted flavour with spicy cedar. Possibly an acquired taste, but I really, really love cedar aged stouts!

440ml can. From To Öl. Batch 2416 - 03/2024. Strong roastedness, coffee and some woody dryness. Light spiciness, could be the cedar? Turns dry and slightly bitter in finish. Pretty good.
