500ml Bottle from Sainsbury’s. A warm golden colour, some citusy notes and quite hoppy, fine but not that exciting.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury. Copper colour with thin white head. Lemon/lime citrus and good resiney hop aroma. Unfortunately it is pasteurised and there is a bit of boiled sweet. Just a bit dull in mouth, before a good hoppy citrus finish. Starts well, finishes well, it’s just the bit in the middle that lets it down.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, dark amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Rather dry body with notes of malt and nuts. Completely standard session beer. 200106

Reddish amber beer with a caramel/malt aroma. The flavour has a slight chemical finish to its lightly hopped and caramel flavour. A refreshing spring ale to certain extent, the caramel flavour is just slightly too much.
