Glory to the Hop
Hops, used artfully, can be a lyrical journey for the palate. What you have here is the liquid equivalent of some old school classic punk rock poetry. We took the path less traveled 25 years ago, and it could be accurately argued we were a bit noisy in our adventures co-pioneering the West Coast style IPA. People heard that noise and joined us in the hoppy mosh pit, and the path has gotten even more lively since then. We based this recipe on the classics, with citrusy-piney Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops, plus a dash of ‘new classic’ Citra for good measure. Big yet refreshing, bold yet nuanced. Undeniably LOUD. Just as we like it.

12 ounce bottle. Bright amber gold color. Rocky beige head. Spicy toasted malt aroma hints at pine. Flavor follows nose. Toasted malt and spicy, resiny hops. Notes of pine needles and bitter grapefruit. With the alcohol coming in at more than 9%, there is an added warmth on the backend. Dry spicy hop finish is just what you’d expect. Classic West Coast!

I saw this for a while. Bottled April 16th 2021, it was stored in the cooler.
It pours a clear gold with a ton of foam. Very good looking.
It smells of grapefruit, some pine, some dankness to it. I reckon that the aromas are ok.
Pretty danky taste. Lots of grapefruit citrus, some pine, melon, like some Hazy IPAs, only it's clear and more bitter.
Good body and mouthfeel.
I bought a 6pack and it won't be that easy to drink the other 5 bottles. I will have to be in the mood.

On tap at Library Alehouse, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops, some resins, and crisp sweet biscuity malt. Flavour is rich in the hop department, with loads of piney hops, a bit of resins, and crisp biscuity malt. Lots of bitter pine, showcasing those IBUs well. Lovely bitter bomb.

The aromas are a nice blend of fresh hops leaning resin and complimented with citrus. Also some caramel malt. Flavors are like nose, bittersweet with some hop and alcohol burn in the finish. Nice beer.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear orange gold with a small white head that dissipates. Floral hoppy nose with orange blossom honey and pine aromas. More of the same on the palate. Strong piney, pithy bitterness that lingers.
