Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of nuts, dark fruits, berries, caramel and a hint of banana. Not really getting the pineapple and grapefruit mentioned in the description. Dry roasted malts come through. Initial carbonation relaxes later on. Not bad.

330ml can. Dark cloudy brown, small off-white head, decent retention. Aroma is chocolate, grains, grapefruit and a touch of earthy pine. This suggests something close to a black IPA. Taste is earthy yet sweet, grains, chocolate, light citrus, grapefruit. Interesting but its a bit front ended with a vague reducing finish. We are not talking layers of flavour that build here. Its ok though.

[December 2021] Dark brown with a bubbly/frothy tan head and a mixed aroma of fruit, malt, caramel, dust and just a hint of pine. Roasted malt, some coffee and fruit, a hint of liquorice and pine, and dry bitterness. Promises more than it delivers, a little thin

Can. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are hops, roast malt, little chocolate, caramel and has a nice bitter finish.

330ml can. Pours very dark brown with a large head. Aroma is dusty raisin, cocoa and caramel. Taste is watery with some berries to start and coffee on the finish.

Can from Mozzas Inverurie. It pours clear deep/dark brown with a decent khaki head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, touch of toasted pine, chocolate orange, Terry's, toffee crisp, Jaffa cake and cookies. The taste is dry, nice kick of bitterness, spikey pine, bitter - sweet, charred wood, cacao, some dark fruits, peppery spice, resin and a touch of coffee with a dry, toasty finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent hoppy porter.

330ml can bought at the Adnams Store in Bury St Edmunds. Shared with Finn. A beige head resting over a clear copper coloured body, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of toffee and dark dough. Mixed taste profile of caramel malts and grainy fruits. Malt-fruity finish. Feels a little diluted on the swallow. Just alright, (Hotel room session, Bethnal Green, London 15.11.2021).

Clear brown colour with quick fading head. It is a bit weak. Some bittersweet dark malts. Misses depth. A disappointment

Delt med Rune på rom 319 Travelodge Bethnal Green. Ekstremt mørkebrun. Middels høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte & etterlater klaselacing. Lett kaffearoma. Smaken kaffe & diffus frukt. Kaffen vant helhetsinntrykket.
