330ml can. Clear bright gold pour, moderate loose white head but keeps a decent retention. Aroma is grains, pine, stone fruits. Taste is hoppy notes of citrus and apricot, biscuit malts, that classic Calvors bitter pine resin (but not too much here), quite sweet. Light to medium bodied, oily. Not a bad lager this one.

Can from Russell & Newnes, Aldburgh. Deeper golden with a small head. It certainly has a dryness but its hops are fairly tasty too. Definitely a notch or two above a standard lager.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 23/09/21. Lightly hazed orange with a moderate white cap. Nose is grains, stewed fruits, hint of plastic, grass. Taste comprises pale malts, dusty hops, tangerine, toasted grains, light perfume. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with dusty hop bitterness. So so affair.

16/9/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers! Pours clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, malt, touch grainy, tropical and herbal. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a slight sour edge. Moderate body, watery texture, above average carbonation. Not their best.

Clear gold with a bubbly white head and a relatively complex floral, citrus and pine aroma. Moderately carbonated, it's dry and bitter in the taste, with an underlying fruit sweetness

330ml can. Pours dark gold with a large frothy head. Aroma is eggy caramel and minerals. Taste has grainy caramel to start and a burnt minerally finish. A bit flabby.

Can from Lidl, Brooklands. Aroma had piney hops over yer standard yeasty lager. Hazy gold. Thin creamy translucent white head. Medium bitter with a big sour citrus streak, undone by very noticeable malts and soggy cardboard. Light. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent. It's... OK. A tad odd.

330ml can; BB 11th Mar 2022. Drank at home on 1st Jul 2021. Bright, clean and clear golden body, off-white head that stayed around, unlike most lagers. Good hop bitterness to this dry tasting brew, a whole lot better than I was expecting!
