--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small head, Aroma o7 licorice and coffee with mild bourbony notes. Sweet with full to massive body and rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, coffee and chili,Simplistic in that adjuncts dominate, but not at all cloying. Alcohol and chili combines to a really heating finish.

Bottle. Black with an ok beige head. Aroma of Bourbon, brown sugar and wood. Taste of Bourbon, malts, brown sugar, chocolate, chili powder, liquorice and alcohol. Low to moderate bitterness with just a little bit of chili heat. Medium carbonation. My sample was probably too old: If the coffee wouldn’t have already left the building this might have been more interesting. As it stands before me right now it’s undercomplex, underwhelming and overtly sweet. But then again it might be quite enjoyable if one actually likes Bourbon.
