One of Verdant's many NEIPA variants, can at Bar Beenhouwer in Ghent. Snow white, thickly cobweb-lacing, pillowy, very moussy and stable head on a cloudy apricot blonde beer with milky ochre-ish tinge in the end. Aroma of pomelo, lemongrass, lime zest, raw pineapple, ripe pear, guava, fresh lemon verbena, green kiwi, shallots sweating in peanut oil. Lively 'green-fruity' onset, starfruit, kiwi, pineapple and a citric edge of pomelo or lime, sweetish but not too much, medium carbonated; soft doughy body, soaked in a wave of zesty, tropical hoppiness, very fruity with a refreshing citric edge but remaining soft and bitterness, letting the sheer juiciness pass through unabated; a light hopburn appears in the end, considered a flaw in hazy IPAs but not really bothering me. Has an interesting 'green' and grassy aspect in the nose, the hopburn probably should not have been there but generally speaking this is a fine NEIPA indeed.

30/VII/21 - 44cl can @ Bar Beenhouwer (Gent), BB: 7/X/21, canned: 7/IV/21 (2021-710) Thanks to all for sharing tonight’s beers!
Little cloudy blond yellow to orange beer, huge creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, good stuff, lovely, tropical fruits, lots of citrus, grapefruit, lovely stuff, I really like it! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: fruity start, bit sweet, sugary even, lots of tropical fruits, little soapy, nice stuff! Aftertaste: a bit sweet, tropical fruits, lots of citrus, grapefruit, bit sugary still, dank hops, a bit too sweet to be a great ipa, but nice stuff going on here!

Can in the garden, 10th July 2021. Pours a light yellow and hazy. Aroma fruit salad, candied citrus fruit. Taste is bright, bittersweet, candied fruit, some resin, a tickle of bitterness and a bittersweet drying finish.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the Experiment. Pours cloudy orange-gold with a big, fluffy white head. Fairly sweet, lots of ripening citrus fruits, some tropical vibes too, tangerine, peach, mango, white grape, limited bitterness, oats, bready pale malts. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, subtle warmth, more bright and juicy citrus, mango, melon. Tasty sauce.
