Sampled from tap at Meibockfestival Amsterdam 2016 at 7.5% abv. Clear, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of honey, strawberry jam and some peach. Sweet, malty, slightly fruity taste of caramel, honey, peach and strawberry jam, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.Re-rate: Sampled from tap at ’Arendsnest’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016. Sweetish aroma of caramel, honey and straw. Sweetish, slightly sourish taste of caramel, honey and straw, followed by a short, slightly tart finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge white head. Aroma is oxidised and toasted malt. Mild herbal. Dry and bitter. Toasted, mlaty nd caramelish. Bitter and toasted finish.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Berghoeve Kriebels! ].[ Courtesy of my European Local swap 4.0 - bierkoning ]. Huge gusher !! Unclear medium orange color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, sugar. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, sweet malt, sugary, grain notes, light yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle @ de Molen, small sample. Hazy light brown color, short frothy head. Aroma is slight spicy, some caramel, bit flowery hop, slight pine. Bit sweet in taste, spicy. Like a bit more bitter belgian amber ale or belgian double. Not my favorite style, but ok for a bit.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Insane gusher. Murky amber with a big off-white head and lots of floaties. Aroma is sweet, malty, yeasty and fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Insane carbonation ruins the palate. 050714
