This high-octane version of Fundamental Observation saw systematic additions of dextrose to power up the brew’s fermentable sugars and help boost the ABV up to a 16.2% finish. After sixteen months of aging and concentrating on Tahitian vanilla beans in bourbon barrels, this beer makes its long-awaited debut as the Final Boss Stage for 2016’s T3 Passport Holders.

4 oz draft. Long last than vanilla on top of mild chocolate malt. Wow! That is a mega fuck ton of vanilla. DAMN !!
That is Mike Tyson throwing a left punch to your face vanilla! Yet somehow you still can find bourbon! Full body with thick texture showing oodles of vanilla.

Pretty thin body, boozy, sweet. Vanilla, chocolate, bourbon, some herbal vibes. Really smooth but also maybe a bit muted, still very nice though.

Loads of vanilla, warming alcohol and barrel. A tad too boozy.

Lt. Thick, sweet and boozy, bucketloads of vanilla, dark chocolate, bourbon, dangerously smooth for the abv. Excellent.

Glorious bourbon stout. Warms the cockles. The bourbon is very present but never overwhelming. Dark as the night.

50 cl bottle @ Monkish Jyri Batch #003, vintage 2021. 17,17% Aroma has cocoa, milk chocolate and somewhat salty licorice. Flavour has sharp-ish alcohol, chocolate, salty licorice. Also vanilla and bourbon tones. A decent slow sipper, the soy sauce notes disturb a bit in the finish though.

Bottle from the source, but kept almost 2 years. Pours black with a brown head that doesn't last long. Aroma's of vanilla, boozy bourbon, molasses. Retronasal it's alcohol, sweet, vanilla, bourbon. Flavour is heavy sweet and light roasty bitter. Alcohol is very hot. Medium bodied, I'd expected it fuller. Long finish.
