Hazy orange gold with a frothy white head and a light malt, citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Smooth up front with a little hop kick, fruity and floral with a dry bittersweet finish

Large tight white head left a rocky top on an unclear golden coloured body.
Citrus & pale malt aroma.
Medium to thin, soft with a lively clean back.
Bitter citrus, zesty, sherbet & grapefruit tastes with a malt backbone.
Quaffer.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#5. WOOL. 'Spar' found beer in the small Dorset village-style town of Wool, with its pretty thatched houses. Easier than most traditional IPA beers, but still not really sessionable. Decent though with mild tropical fruit notes in both aroma and taste, but remaining very British in terms of style.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the big Tesco at Hackney Central. Pours crystal clear gold with a creamy, white head. Light sweet flavour, some bready biscuits, subtle citrusy hops, a suggestion of pine needles. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Sweet more than bitter. Oak balance to finish.

33cl Blik uit een Britse supermarkt. Iets mistig oranjegouden kleur, witte kraag. Licht hoppig, fruitig, perzik, redelijk zoet, meer een hoppige Golden Ale dan ISA maar kan er mee door. Lichte body.
