Flax infused blonde. Vicaris Lino is a blond beer with a pleasant hop flavour and a light aftertaste. Lino is Italian for flax, the unique ingredient in this beer. The result is a balanced and most drinkable beer with a solid head. Apart from touches of flax, the rich aroma also contains citrus hops which provide a refreshing and light bitterness.

Troebel geel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en fruitig met iets van sinaasappel, abrikoos en een licht zoet bijsmaak die dan waarschijnlijk van het lijnzaad komt. Eigenlijk een heel goed drinkbaar bier.

Bottiglia. Il naso riconosce segni di orzo e di lino. La finezza olfattiva è normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido appare nuvoloso. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al palato prevalgono impressioni di miele, cereali, pane cotto di recente, lino, un accenno di resinoso ed erbaceo.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is floral with peppery notes, yeast, pale malt, hint of herbal hops and citrus. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body. Pleasant floral Belgian Ale, nice yeast profile and a light hoppy twist.

Bottle at Mouterijtje Kortrijk Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Light esters on aroma. Light malts in thd mouth. Some herby earthy hop on finish. Fine but of little character and I may be imagining, but a little soap as well.

On tap in Rose Red, Brugge on 8th May 2024. Light haze to the golden pour, white crown. Grainy with a floral touch, light citrus backdrop.

Slightly hazy golden beer with a white head. Aroma of dry grainy malt, straw, mild floral hops. Taste of grains, straw, dry grainy malt, mild floral bitterness.

Messy pour but it's murk yellow with a lot of white head. Flax for sure. Big grain, straw, some funk. Flavor is sweet with honey and some candy, then straw and wheat. There is something astringent, like nettles. Long finish. Medium bodied.
