”Callista", in Greek, means ‘most beautiful’ and is actually the second-largest moon of Jupiter. We packed this pilsner with Callista hops to give you a refreshing taste with that noble German hop character combined with delicious fruitiness.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild fruits, some grains, grass, herbs and earth. Flavour crisp malts, some slight grassy tones with mild toffee and some grainy notes. Pleasantly crisp flavour.

Dry malty pils aroma, a little tiny bit sweet, very clean aroma. very nice. perhaps a bit like checkish pilsener, but this one seems more crisp and dry and straight. Flavor is quite bitter almost bitter nutty, and the the bit more gentle lager yeast and pilsener bitterness, palate is very soft. I sense a very very faint slightly fruity note in the flavor, more the kind of fruitiness you might find in a beer with a bit of wheat malts, than the kind of fruitiness you might find in a beer using belgian yeast. In any case, a very decent and well tasting pilsener, with enough going on to keep you from getting bored.
