Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, small brown head. Aroam of licorice. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Liucorice and caramel, some milk chocolate. Ashy bitter finish.

[ As Beard Brew Russian Imperial Stout ].
ABV: 10.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, nutty, dark malt, dark fruit, oat, wood, rich, light to moderate chocolate and coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted, malty, rich, oat, moderate coffee and chocolate, light nutty, light eanglish licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210429]

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes roasted malt, dark chocolate, and liquorice. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, liquorice, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a neat and steady light brown head leaving laces - really good looking. Sweet vanilla nose atop some subtle roast. Rich, sweet body. Roastiness getting a lot more pronounced now, but rounded pleasantly by the licorice. Not really bitter. Randers usually make very solid strong Stouts. This is no exception. 060520
