Can from the cornershop. Looks appetising, bright amber with a decent white head that slowly fades. Nose is lemon, pine, caramel. Medium sweetness, light-medium bitterness. Very British flavours. Light-medium body, lively carbonation, lingering woody hop bitterness, reasonably dry. Decent old-school pale ale.

Fra cask på Ferry House (Isle of Dogs), med Egil: lett uklar gylden med eksemplarisk skum helt ned. Furunål/eukalyptus, appelsinmarmelade og noen florale toner. Fin bitterhet.

Can from Three Hounds, Beckenham. Aroma is sweet and malty. Citrus and honey. Opaque amber gold. Foamy white head. Light bitter with a sweet edged tangy citrus sour streak. A tad metallic. Light bodied. Thin. Long somewhat astringent finish. Is this a bitter. Seems too hoppy. Has the recipe changed? Certainly the stronger bottled version is seemingly no longer available. Alright.

Hand-pulled pint in Franklins, a place on Lordship Lane, East Dulwich on 27th October 2021. Golden/amber body, almost clear, on top a decent and lasting white head. Nice, easy blend with the hops just about winning in the nose and flavour stakes. Nothing powerful or out of the ordinary, just a pleasant Bitter/Pale Ale.
