Bottle, 5%. Weak spicy hop aroma, not as much as in the other beers. Clear golden colour. Almost no head. The flavour is malty with a bit of their usual hop. OK balanced, nice enough.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear deep golden with a tall and lively off-white head leaving some laces. Clean, sweetish malty nose. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel and a very clean malt base. Discreet bitterness. Solid German craftmanship. 050608

(bottle, bought at Vogels Getränkemarkt, Forchheim) Clear, deep golden colour with a big foamy white head. Light-sweet malty, citrus fruity nose with nettle spice and herbal, slightly woody hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft malty, slightly chalky taste with subtle fruity notes and herbal accents from the beginning; moderately dry, bitter-sweet finish with a touch of liquorice in the aftertaste. Decent Landbier.

Bottle (bought at the brewery): Mild herbal hoppiness in the sweet, bready, fruity (almost liquorice) nose (typical for Hebendanz); golden coloured, small lacing head; mild bitter-sweet flavour, soft MF; short, bready-bitter, quite dry finish. A typical Hebendanz..............
