Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly - fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light hoppy, dusty hop spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100417]

Bottle @ Brugmansia/Fonefan Tasting, April 2010. Pours clear yellow with a white foam. Nose is yeast, sweat and grain. Very smooth and dry flavor. A bit of buiscuit and a discreet dry hoppyness in the end.

Bottle, 5%. Weak spicy hop aroma, not as much as in the other beers. Clear golden colour. Almost no head. The flavour is malty with a bit of their usual hop. OK balanced, nice enough.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet matly with notes of caramel and dusty hops. The flavor sweet and sticky malty combined with notes of caramel. Thanks yespr for sharing.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear deep golden with a tall and lively off-white head leaving some laces. Clean, sweetish malty nose. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel and a very clean malt base. Discreet bitterness. Solid German craftmanship. 050608

50 cL bottle, trade with Maria. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a lacing white head. Mild citric corn aroma with a mild bitterness showing through. Medium dry corn and malt flavour with a light dry bitterness coming through. Ends dry and bitter.

(bottle, bought at Vogels Getränkemarkt, Forchheim) Clear, deep golden colour with a big foamy white head. Light-sweet malty, citrus fruity nose with nettle spice and herbal, slightly woody hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft malty, slightly chalky taste with subtle fruity notes and herbal accents from the beginning; moderately dry, bitter-sweet finish with a touch of liquorice in the aftertaste. Decent Landbier.

Bottle (bought at the brewery): Mild herbal hoppiness in the sweet, bready, fruity (almost liquorice) nose (typical for Hebendanz); golden coloured, small lacing head; mild bitter-sweet flavour, soft MF; short, bready-bitter, quite dry finish. A typical Hebendanz..............
