We've recently invested in some new equipment that allows us to dial in our water like never before, and who better than Polly's to help us develop the perfect profile for this soft, juicy IPA. Hop-wise it's some newer varieties we're both enjoying right now - Talus, Sabro & Idaho 7 - plus a little bit of Citra for good measure.

440ml can at Battle of Bull, Cheras, Malaysia. Poured a slightly hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits, light piney hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, super fresh, juicy, lemon lime citrus, light smooth coconut, dry floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Thin foamed head left a cover on a hazy vivid golden coloured body. Punchy aroma of confectionery & stone fruit. Medium bodied, lively & light over the tongue with a clean back. Bubble gum, stone fruit, pith, grapefruit & pine tastes with a bitter hoppy finish. Good one.

440ml can. Hazy orange, small white head. Aroma is quite resinous, Sabro-y coconut, fruits. Taste is resinous, Sabro and Talus bringing the coconut, tropical, citrus, moderate bitterness. Medium bodied. Decent but disappointing - both breweries do much better IPAs than this.
