500ml bottle at the Blue Room, Springfield Stadium watching the live stream of Jersey Bulls away victory, first of the Elliott Powell's era. This was the complimentary drink I chose. Looks better than it tastes. Refreshing cold & over ice. Unsurprisingly tastes of apples. Passably enjoyable

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of green apple and brown sugar. Taste is of fizzy apply juice, apple drops. Slightly sour finish.

440ml can from Asda. Clear gold, circular bubbled retention. Aroma of apple sweet confectionery, green apple skins. Taste is sweet green apples, some peel, confectionery. Watery to light body, a slightly cloying sugariness. Its light, fruity, cheap and easy drinking. Its also very sugary and slightly artificial but I have a sweet tooth so enjoyed this. Its also much better than Strongbow.

Golden color with a tart apple aroma. Nice balance of sweet and dry, good carbonization. Easy drinking.

500ml bottle. Clear golden amber. Aroma of apple juice (sweet and tangy). Taste is sweet, tangy apples, honestly this just tastes like apple juice. It's easy drinking and inoffensive at least.

Mass-produced craft cider which is actually very refreshing and somewhat tasty, albeit very artificially and served super-cold. Clear and golden with a small bubbly white head, sweet and tangy apples and not overly fizzy

On tap at Shepherd and Crook at Burmarsh. Clear orange gold colour lasting white head. Medium Apple juice inoffensive. Not much character. A bit sweet. Not much on finish. More or less apple juice.

[50cl bottle from Sainsbury’s.] A clear apple juice colour with a fair amount of fizz; quite a floral aroma; sweet floral taste to start, then a kick off tart green apple; before a sweet finish.
