"Oma Lene", Fläschchen von Töpper, Moabit, jetzt mit 6,6 %. - Schwarzrot, undurchsichtig; fast schaumlos. Feine dunkelmalzige Herbe, sparsame Hopfung, Anklänge an Gruut. (9.2.2025.)

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Feb 24. Cheers Mark for this! Paired with some salted caramel chocolate. Pours a hazed brown, off-white head. Aroma of gingerbread, cinnamon. Flavour profile seems to captures the taste of those spicey gingerbread cookies well, with additional soreen maltloaf notes.

19th February 2024; Shrewsbury Gathering, five blokes and loads of beer to share. Cheers Mark for the 33cl bottle of this Christmas Lebkuchen beer. Tasted just like a Lebkuchen and it had that gingerbread aroma too. Impressive and sweet, a German Christmas in a bottle!

Bottle. Cloudy brown color with beige head. Lebkuchen on aroma. Taste starts malty, followed by cacao nibs, Anise, Coriander, cardamon, star anise, and other spices. Very nice.

6,6% ABV.
