Bottle. Uroma Lene. Cloudy dark red/brown with small white head that is gone almost immediately. Aroma of gingerbread/lebkuchen and all its spices: Cinnamon, clove, coriander, anise and the like. Fruity. Taste follows aroma perfectly plus hints of cherries and apples. Slightly acidic. More spicy than sweet. Low bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Intereresting concept executed nicely. Very balanced. Bravo. Would have been even better on a cold winter night though.

Brown colour, head completely disappears after a while. Aroma is lots of clove, nutmeg, other spices. This really tastes like gingerbread! Medium sweetness, isn't cloying. Soft carbonation. Good, but I won't be able to drink 0.5l.

15/6/2019. Bottle courtesy of Boris, shared at the Prague GP bottle share. Pours clear dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of aniseed, nutmeg, coriander and Lotus biscuit. Medium sweetness and light to moderate business. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Spicy biscuit finish. Nice aroma but taste was a little odd.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, reddish-brown colour with small to average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. X-masy, spicy aroma, notes of gingerbread, speculoos, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, aniseed, allspice, nutty and chocolately, dark malty background. Taste is dry, spicy and slightly sweet, nutty and minimally chocolately, dark malty, ginger and cinnamon-dominated notes of allspice. Very spicy, but not overdone, no hints of soapiness or other off-flavours, well composed, would be even better of with a more beefy malty backbone.

On tap at Frisches Bier, München, Friday 12th April 2019. Pours dark brown, a little murky, light tan head. Soft in the mouth, cinnamon, ginger, really spicy, good beer, not so much stout as big spice driven beer.

From the bottle. Dirty brown with a thin head. Aroma is Lebkuchen the whole way through, with a little more anis than usual. Taste is sweet and follows the nose: Lebkuchen pure. Again, more anis than in the baked version. Thankfully, I like Lebkuchen. Medium body, lightly sticky, balanced carbonation. Okay, it’s gimmicky but it does it’s gimmick well. One of the best Christmas beers I’ve drunk.

Bottle. Mashsee Oma lene. Hazy brown. Very spicy Lebkuchen aroma. Medium body. Sweet, gingerbread/Printen, spices are on point, somewhat too sweet for my taste.

0.33 bottle. Hazy brown. Wow lebkuchen, huge aroma of spices! Flavor isn't as sweet as expected. Gingerbread more than lebkuchen ;-) cinnamon understand co. Heavy on the caramel malt. Reeeal nice.
