Did you know that IPA stands for Indian Pale Ale, and that it was originally brewed for sale in India, becoming popular in the UK following a shipwreck in the Irish Sea in 1827, when barrels of IPA were auctioned off in Liverpool? IPA is one of Cains’ best selling ales: a refreshing session beer, with a subtle hop aroma and a light, yet full flavour

It is a typical English IPA missing a stronger presence of hop, watery, missing malt, acceptable but nothing special, drinking it in one pub, close to the brewery, during a trip in Liverpool with friends in 2014 or 2015 in december.

Verry Old Rating. 440ml can from British Shop in Warsaw. Pelna ipa w stylu brytyjskim, mocno gorzka konkretna, zero niemal slodowosci, moze lekki karmel, ale fajnie zywiczno i w starym stylu IPA

Can 0,44: Clear copper/brown coloured brew with an bitter taste and some hints of sweetness. The beer names says IPA, i thought IPA’s were more higher in alcohol. This is just an Bitter, but a nice one.

Can from Quack-Duck, thanks! Amber color. Initial strng grapefruit aroma, fading away soon. Some hopbitterness with grapefruit notes in the flavor. Thin but tasty. Some subtle earthy notes in the aftertaste. Not bad.

Cask in Cheshire. Old notes. Typical low-alcohol bitter posing as an IPA. Ok malt flavor, some hops coming through. Low key and not very exciting, but nice enough for the low alcohol.

Golden amber, clear, dense white head, good lacing, nice logo on glass
Aroma - Light caramel malt, very soft aroma
Taste - Light caramel malts, touch of soft honey, touch of bitterness, easy going
Palate - Soft mouth feel. Finish of soft caramel, touch of biscuit, some lingering bitterness, slightly metallic
Overall - Its a 3.5% beer - very soft flavours - it was OK for what it’s supposed to do

Can 440ml. Bardzo delikatne i słabe piwo. Bez piany, mało wyraziste w zapachu i smaku. Nazwa IPA sporo naciągana bo nie czuć prawie chmielu. Daleko mu nawet do Bittera.

Smooth texture is nice enough, but is a bland pale ale in terms of taste and flavour.
