Cask conditioned ale has been the popular choice among brews since long before prohibition. We continue this pioneer spirit with our Wisconsin farmhouse ale. Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn.

Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which cannot be duplicated otherwise.

Expect this ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying. You know you're in Wisconsin when you see the Spotted Cow.

Mellow start for tonight’s share. Lots of fruity esters, clean and round. Sweeter than I remember

Can thanks to Chris. Amber with a frothy, white head. Aroma of apricots gone slightly off. Bubblegum. Orange juice. Taste is bittersweet, a mix of marshmallow sweetness and herbal bitterness with a citric twist at the end. An odd one, but it grew on me.

Can courtesy of Adam. Thanks for the trade. Pours a clearish straw gold with a finger of white, fluffy foam that lingers, then dissipates. Lovely estery nose with clove, mineral, grass and light banana notes. Smooth on the palate with some stone fruit and honey notes followed by mineral, grass and light lemon notes. Soft texture / mouthfeel. Easy drinking and paired well with a salad. Great beer with food.

Taster showing pale gold with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows moderately intense clean notes of malt with light hints of farmhouse and barnyard . The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Mild Belgian forward yeast with the same light notes of cream and clean malt. Clean malty finish. Very nice.
