cloudy brown, small offwhite head. sourish aroma flavor is sweet, caramelly, wheat, no hint of the sour nose, like a dunkelweizen. quite caramelly sweet actually.

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of wheat, malt, caramel, and some banana. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, wheat, and a bit banana, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy and opaque amber with an off-white head. Aroma has a little banana and sweet overripe fruit. Solid body, heavy carbonation, lovely overripe fruit and a whiff of ashes. Absolutely no bitterness. 090710

Bottled 500ml. -from Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest. Murky red/brown coloured, medium sized white head, mild fruity jam like nose. Sweet malty, fruity and slight lactic taste with touch of smoke near the end. Drinkable but quite unbalanced. Even that 7.2% is hardly noticable.

0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from Budapest (thanks!). Poured a murky opaque dark red-brown body. Small thick off white head. Light nose, sweet, malty, gluey, somewhat earty. Ok. Light sweet malty taste, slightly orasty, dark malts, maybe some coffee and light acidity. Weizenbock? More like an average Dunkelweizen on steroids.

ottle, bought at Markthalle Abensberg. Deep chestnut-brown colour, large off-white head. Malty-fruity nose. Full-bodied, malty and wheaty with hints of raisins and dark berries. Delicious!

Hazy amber color; generous head. The aroma is sweet, with caramel, sweet yeast, light banana and light soap. Some caramel flavor, too much carbonation, lean mouthfeel despite the high gravity, soapy, dusty, with rancid nuts and light vegetables; low bitterness and high alcohol perception. Too simple.

Mittelwürziger Antrunk, das Malz, das sich vorerst zurückhält, wird nach und nach immer stärker und übernimmt ab dem Mittelteil die Führung, im Nachgeschmack dazu sehr würzig und leicht vergoren fruchtig. Prickelnd, sehr schwer. Das Bier unterscheidet sich von anderen hauptsächlich durch den intensiven Nachgeschmack, der aber nicht sonderlich lange hält. Fully hazy chestnut (end of bottle full of wriggly little white worms); fluffy, dirty-brown head gone in secs. Nose with bread, sour mash, wheat, lactic and fruity. Slightly sweet-sour taste, some dark malts, only slightly bready. There is a less pleasing retronasal flavour which reminds me of - sorry - sour herring, maybe in lactic acid rather than vinegar. Rather empty mouthfeel. Strange concoction. I find nothing from the classical banana/toffee Per found. There are some good elements here, but they just don’t hold together. "Unbalanced", Bov says. Couldn’t agree more.
