Bottled 500ml (BZ, BB 03/2012)
Deep golden color, vanishing white head. Aroma has strong buttery diacetyl and metal. Medium-bodied. Sweet malty, grassy hoppy, buttery, diacetylic with lots of metal. Some bitterness in the finish, quite flat mouthfeel. Not very solid.

Bottle, thanks to Tony Ayton. Pours pale amber with a long-lasting small off-white head and some lacing. Yeasty sweet honey aroma. Full-bodied liquid - thick mouthfeel. Cheese, herbiness, berry fruits and caramel dominate in-mouth, after which a fairly sweet fruity aftertaste ensues. Pleasant but on the sweet side.

Bottled as Leinleitertal Bock Bier. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of malt and caramel, but also light notes of bread, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

(bottle, purchased at the brewery) Unclear, golden colour with a fluffy, slowly lacing off-white foam. Sweet, subtle fruity malt aroma with a tinge of honey and alcohol, rounded up with light woody hops. Sweet flavour with a light level of bitterness, medium body with a soft carbonation. Slightly toasty and bready, cara-malty taste with herbal hoppy accents from the beginning; moderately sweet, slightly bitter woody hoppy finish. Pleasant and rounded pale Bock (27.02.08).
