Pours clear gold, with a really thin, diminishing white head.
Nose is sweet, a bit of malt, maybe bread. Flavor is also sweet, a bit fruity.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Completely different label now. Clear pale gold. Sturdy white foam. Bready and light on the malts. Some peppery hop leaf. Taste is light sweet with decent bitterness. Drinks easy. Light bitter finish. Solid.

"1268er Urhell", laut Brauerei-Website "das Urhell in klein", Fläschchen als Geschenk aus Aldersbach. - Satt goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase feines helles Malz, zarte Süße, im Hintergrund vornehm blasse zitronig-herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk schlank und sauber hellmalzig, leicht getreidig, verhaltene Restsüße, etwas Honig. Mild-aromatische orangenfruchtige und fein herbale Hopfung. Milder rezent. - Klassisch sauberes, solide malziges Helles mit sortentypisch milder aber gediegener Hopfung, die es deutlich aus der Masse heraushebt.

Taste starts medium sweet malty and honey-like, following is grassy and mild fruity, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is pretty bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. 500 ml can from the Kaldea set. Soft, bready malt, touch of honey, herbal, lemony hops. Touch of dough. Bright, clear gold with a medium, fluffy head. Sweet malt flavor, biscuits and honey, lemon, herbs, tiny bit of oxidation. Finish is herbal, spicy, lightly bitter. Nice enough.

Can. Pale gold, white head. Soft bready aroma with mild herbs. Perhaps the malt is a little firm upon a taste. Dryish but with a hint of richness, gently balancing bitterness. No thriller but good quality.
