Sample (thanks fonefan!). Deep beetroot colour with a small head. Aroma is tart wood, some red berries and mild spiciness. Flavour is tart wood, some red berries, mild lactose and a slight acidic edge.

Pours intensely dark redpurple . No head. Scent is full, cherries take the lead (even overpower) but aren't as intense as expected after the color. tartness underneath seems fairly simple, doesn't give the idea of great complexity. Taste is fairly tart, mild oak presence , full cherries - again, dominant, but not as unbalanced as the color made me think. Bit simple though. mild maltyness, almost a bit soapyness as well, in the back. Nothing troublesome to me, just a small note. Decent beer, but oh so simple. Lactic acid + tart cherries , not much going on beyond that. Definately nothing to seek out.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear deep burgundy colour, small head. Balsamic cheery aroma. Mid sweet with some cherry tartness. Sour cherries and vinegar, some wood and old butter. No bitterness.

ABV: 7.0%. Clear medium to dark red colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - pink head. Aroma is cherry, almonds, light funk. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, cherry, almonds, light funky, light barrel, dry, sour'ish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220108]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is ruby. Aroma and taste are rich cherries, lactose acid, almonds, malt and has a nice long sour finish.
