(473ml can from Mikkeller Webshop) Pours very deep brown to black with a thick foamy tan head and heavy lace. Notes of quite toasty and nutty dark malts, lots of brewed coffee, earth, cacao, some dark sugar sweetness and moderate vanilla for balance but the overall feel is only lightly sweet and rather bitter with quite a dry finish, lots of that toasty, nutty brown ale vibe in the finish. Medium bodied with pretty soft carbonation, maybe a little thin for ABV. At times it edges into stout territory but there's a quality that definitely makes it feel more brown ale too. Quite decent post-dinner brew.

Can picked up and drunk outside Mikkeller General Store - very dark brown to black with a beige head. Dark toasted roasted malty with resonating coffee roast, some charred brown sugar, dark malty, medium to full bodied, twist of vanilla into the finish. Nice.

Can, many thanks to CK! Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is super vanilla, fresh coffee, ice cream. Taste is chocolate, vanilla, on the sweet side, but not too sweet. Velvety mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Good one!
