330 ml flip-top bottle, bb 13.05.16, from Hofladen Dazu, Vienna.
Golden, moderate hazy body, with a big, stable, fluffy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of spicy-sweet honey, grains, flowers, grass, bread, some metallic notes.
Tastes follows this, but without the metallic notes and some more herbs.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, floral, moderate bitter, a bit spicy, with honey, bread, some grains.
Good. The nose isn’t that good, but the taste is better, with well integrated, sweet and spicy honey notes. Quite enjoyable, while I’ve had much better honey beers.

Bottle from Heeresgeschichtliches Museum Wien. Aroma is mostly sweet malt and maybe a bit of honey? Not really sure, nothing clearly discernible. Clear golden colour. Taste is mild, balanced. Light hoppy, light ambiguous maltish sweetness. Quite refreshing, if nothing else. OK beer, nothing special.

0.33 Bügelverschlussflasche from a Vienna Easter Market Am Hof. Hazy deep golden colour, creamy white head. Malty flavours with hints of honey (dark honey - chestnut-honey?). Herbal touch, slightly hoppy in the finish.
