0,33l bottle at home bought from the brewery online shop. BB says 04/2020, I assume this rather means bottled on though. black color, small coffee colored head. smells rather peaty, marzipan, some vanilla, hints of berry notes. overall nice smell, bit heavy on the peat. full body, light carbonation. tastes of peat, earthy, peppery, light spices. finishes light to medium roasty bitter with notes of peat. Ok beer, unfortunatly way too simple, peat notes are way too dominant. Even some sweetness would have been nice to balance this out a bit. I guess the barrel killed the beer.
