Late to the party. Top notch lager, resinous, with loads of honey, crackers and grass in the nose. Medium sweet, resinous, herbal bitterness. Superb balance and very smooth, as usual with Bierschmiede.

330 ml bottle, bb 25.3.2019. Amber, clear body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, light beige head. Aroma of flowers, fresh herbs, hay, bread, honey, toffee, moderate stone pine. Tastes pretty similar. Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes quite dry, medium bitter, a bit sweet, with the stone pine finally prominent, resinous, floral, herbal, grainy, hoppy. Really nice. My bottle isn't fresh, so the stone pine faded a bit and is only prominent in the finish. Otherwise this is a quaffable Amber Lager how I like it, clean and balanced, with well dosed hops and a smooth malt body. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 14
