Grapefruit and Tangerine sour
Buckle up for this juice bomb of a sour beer. The first tremor of tartness hits, then hold tight for a citrus blast of seismic proportions. Tectonic plates of lemon, tangerine, grapefruit and tart apple agitate the pie crust and biscuit backbone.

Not the sourest sour it has to be said. Pours a clear pale gold with a small, bubbly white head, lots of effervescence, and a subtle pink grapefruit and tangerine aroma. There’s a tartness to the flavour to begin with, with sweet citrus fruit pulling through into the somewhat short finish, alongside some light biscuit malt. It’s spritzy and zesty, and refreshing but a little one-dimensional

Gold with a fleeting, foamy head. Aroma full of lime with a mild, rhubarb undertone. Taste is sour the whole way through. Medium bodied with prickly carbonation. Drinkable but one dimensional.

Bottle from Tesco Supermarket, Manchester. Clean golden with a carbonation and a small head and a bit of a glow. Zesty, tangy, quite active on the palate. Subtle fruit in a more generally sweet nose, more obvious citrus in taste, pink grapefruit and a tarty finish. Not too sour in the grand scheme of things.

33cl. Fruity beginning. Easy to drink, mild fruity with not too much depth. Nice fruity parts, lemon and dry sour mandarina. Sessionable.
