On tap at the brewery. Has a clear brown golden colour with a light beige head. Light aroma of some bread crust, nuts and grass. Has a very light flavour with some grass, bread crust and hops. Has a light and slick mouth feel, light body and bitterness. Very light but is fresh.

From the tap at 1516 Brewing Company, Vienna, Austria. Pours light brown, medium transparency, with medium grain white foam. Aroma is malty and citrus. Body is slightly dense with intense carbonation (too much). Taste is sweet and malty, some bitterness of the old school type. Finish is nothing special.

Draught @ 1516 Brewing Company, Venna, Austria. Pours dark golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light spicy hops, little grass. Flavor is light sweet, malt, caramel, herbal hops, little grass. Medium body, average carbonation. 140816

On ap at brewpub. Hazy brown colour with an off white head. A mix betweeen helles and dunkles. Moderate malty nose. Light fruity and medium sweet malt flavour.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty and light breadish. Caramelish note. Bitter and light breadish malty finish.

Draught at the brewpub.
Pale brown coloured, small white head, surprisingly neutral nose. Mix of helles and dunkles served from one tap. The helles part of this beer is much more exposed while dunkles is quite subdued. Ok malty, light fruity and pleasant hoppy. Moderate bitter finish.

Sampled draught at the brewpub.
A mix of dunkles and helles, very common among Viennese brewers. Amber coloured with creamy head. Fruity, sweet and quite soft. Fairly malty. Lightly grassy finsih with medium bitterness.
