As Friedel Zentbechhofen Kellerbier. Many thanks for this bottle to Pivnizub & MoritzF. Pours hazy orange golden with a nice sized white head. Aroma of malt, little bread, grassy hops.

Bottle:Light amber coloured, hazy, big rocky off-white head;fruity-yeasty nose with a caramelly touch, also "green" aromas detectable, a slight hoppy touch as well;drier moderate bitter-sweet flavour, relatively soft and nearly medium bodied; slightly dry rural dark-malty and bitter finish. Only mediocre by franconian standards…

Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): "Pale copper" coloured with a huge fluffy off-white head, a bit unclear, sweet-malty (toasted malt too) aroma with a good touch of a franconian barnyard and distinctive traces of hops; moderate to stronger bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; lingering hoppy and toasted-malty finish. Another franconian goody.........

Trübes bernsteinfarbenes Zwickel mit geringem Schaum. Geruch hopfig grasig, Geschmack angenehm herb, minimal säuerlich, süffig.

Bottle (gusher!) looks good. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts mild, malty, modest yeasty-dry. Mild sourish notes, hints of caramel. Finish still mild, but not washy, a bit metallically. Okay.

500ml bottle [gusher!]. Cloudy amber colour with huge, frothy to macropore, diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Grainy, strawy, bready-yeasty doughy aroma, a touch of hay, a puff of an efflorescence of lemon zest. Taste is minimally sweet malty-spicy, a touch of caramel, a touch of hay, a fresh, minimally tart touch of lemon and lemon zest; lively carbonation. Nice Zwickel - sadly a good deal of it was lost on the floor.

Bottled (from landbierparadies). Hazy brownish colour with a small beige head. Aroma is fruits, nuts, mild malts and some chocolaty and toffeeish notes. Flavour is caramel, nutty notes, some floral notes as well. Very pleasantly balanced.

Wenig malziger Antrunk, mild. Etwas süßlich, das Malz dehnt sich noch etwas aus bevor es an eine unscheinbare Herbe stößr. Ebenso ausgleitend. Trinkbare unauffälliges Bier. 9/8/9/9/?/9

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, hay, straw, nutty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderatee bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, hay - straw, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft. Bottle @ Brewery. Pours amber with a spritzy off white head. Bread, perfume and spices. Some dusty vintage notes. Medium bodied. Dont think it was a really fresh bottle they sold me? Still ok drinkable . .

Cloudy amber with a large beige head. Malty aroma with hints of grassy hops and caramel. Hoppy flavour with caramel, grass, bread and toasted malt. Finished dry and bitter.
